Last year I caught a TV show during a marathon showing on Discovery. I became addicted. For the entire day, I was completely captivated. We are talking from morning until 9pm that night, I was hooked.
The second season started last night.
Check out Everest: Beyond the Limit on Tuesday nights.

I came home from work today to a lovely surprise – a decapitated squirrel in my backyard and my dog Levi looking very proud of herself.

As you can probably guess by the title, this is not the first time. In fact, on a daily basis Levi will stand next to the fence, stare up at the squirrels and pace the fence line as they walk across in a teasing manner. I’m not sure if she finally jumped high enough to reach one or if one of the little suckers slipped off the fence, but she caught one and she is proud.
So gross!!
When did this little cute face become a killer?

Science is incredible. There is now a device that helps blind people see- through their TONGUE!!!!!
The idea behind it all is your brain is actually the organ that sees rather than your eyes. The brain interprets and organizes the information sent by the eyes. Scientists found a way to bypass the eyes- through the tongue. Small cameras strapped on the forehead convert images to a grey scale image and send an electrical impulse to the tongue. The brain interprets the impulses and a blind man can see. Hopes are within a few years the device will be wireless. The mouthpiece will fit on the roof of the mouth and the camera inside of a pair of glasses.
